Yazeed Alharbi - Research scientist at NCAI

About me

I am Yazeed Alharbi. I am currently working as a research scientist at the National Center for AI (NCAI) where I lead several technical teams from use-case definition to delivery of products.

Most of my work is focused on disentanglement: how deep learning architectures separate between different concepts. Starting with GANs, I worked on how style and content can be separated without complicated losses. This has lead to published work under the supervision of Professor Peter Wonka during my PhD at KAUST. Next, I moved to how language models can aid GANs and diffusion models in disentangling textual concepts from unrelated visual content.
